The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) – West Region has retained the services of Egis to carry out the Detail Design and Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) Study for the intersection improvements at Highway 26 and Grey Road 2 (G.W.P. 3217-15-00) and Highway 26 and Grey Road 21 (G.W.P. 3086-16-00), located in the Town of The Blue Mountains, County of Grey.
The Study is following the approved planning process for a Group 'B' project under the Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for Provincial Transportation Facilities (2000).
The Study will include but is not limited to:
G.W.P. 3217-15-00: Intersection Improvements at Highway 26 and Grey Road 2 including the rehabilitation of Culvert 473 (Site 08X-0473/C0), illumination at the Highway 26 and Grey Road 113/10th Line intersection, and Georgian Trail Realignment.
G.W.P. 3086-16-00:Intersection Improvements at Highway 26 and Grey Road 21.
An Online Public Information Centre is scheduled for early 2025 where more information will be provided.
